Some wonderful news

Our Project Officer, Tahirrae Slikker has been offered a three-month internship with the World Health Organisation where she will be working for the Regional Adviser for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Personnel, within the Regional Office of the Eastern Mediterranean.

We are very excited for Tahirrae and although we will miss her, we are excited to hear all about her upcoming venture and efforts all the way from Cairo.

In Cairo she will be working closely under the supervision of Dr Arwa Oweis to work towards increasing the capacity for nurse training in the Eastern Mediterranean region, with a specific focus on maternal, infant and women’s health.

Tahirrae offers great experience in biological sciences, science communication, statistics and public health.

Of course, her supervisor at Monocle Data, Dr Sundresan Naicker - a passionate advocate for equitable public health, is especially excited.
